Christmas... a stressful time for many !
The Turnbull coalition Government will provide immediate additional assistance for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders at risk of self-harm by supporting a new critical response initiative over the Christmas period.
Experts warn that the risk of self-harm in Aboriginal and Islander communities peaks in December and January and that the initiative is in response to the warning from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Suicide Prevention Evaluation Project.
